Meet Our Team

Torie Charvez, EA
Torie has 20 years experience in tax and accounting. She is an Enrolled Agent with the IRS. Torie began her
accounting career as an Accounts Receivable Clerk working her way up to the Accounting Manager position
at a wholesale distribution company.

She found her true passion when her father “bribed” her to take the H&R Block tax class…to this day he swears “It was the best $200 I ever spent” She then went to work part time for 8 tax seasons at H&R Block. Deciding that she wanted to pursue taxation full time, she found a position in the public accounting arena at a small public CPA firm, and after 10 years, decided it was time to open her own firm.

This combination of private and public accounting gives her a unique perspective that helps understand the
needs of the business client.

As a member of the California Society of Enrolled Agents, she is currently serving a 1 year term on the Mission Chapter’s Board of Directors as the President-Elect , and will take over the Presidency in June 2011

Torie teaches a variety of tax classes for MSEA as well doing speaking engagements for other organizations.Torie is currently working on her Masters in Taxation at Golden Gate University in San Francisco. What’s next? Passing the CPA exam.

Eryn Blankenship, Administrative Assistant & Office Manager
Eryn is the newest addition to the Tax Goddess team. Her office management skills keep the office running
smoothly and efficiently. Eryn lives in San Jose with her daughter.
